Job Description:

Sobha Siniya is a flagship luxury waterfront development by Sobha Group, located off the coast of Umm Al Quwain, UAE. Spanning over 11 square kilometers, the master-planned island will feature a mix of ultra-luxury villas, apartments, resorts, retail, and recreational zones, all set amidst pristine beaches and natural mangroves. With a focus on sustainability and upscale living, the development aims to be a benchmark in high-end coastal communities, combining modern architecture with ecological preservation. It's poised to be a landmark destination in the UAE’s real estate landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of master project schedules for all civil and infrastructure works for Sobha Siniya Island development project.
• Review contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to establish detailed project timelines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, Consultants, and Clients to ensure alignment on key milestones.
• Develop and maintain baseline and revised project schedules using Primavera P6 (or similar planning tools).
• Conduct critical path analysis and track project progress against key deliverables.
• Forecast potential delays and identify corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on project status, risks, resource allocation, and recovery plans.
• Manage project control systems including cost control, progress measurement, and earned value analysis.
• Support procurement planning and ensure timely availability of materials and subcontractors.
• Lead the planning team and provide mentorship and training for junior planners and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certification in MRICS, PMP, CCM, Leed AP, CPC, CCIFP or similar in Construction would be an advantage.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in construction planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in planning high-rise towers, luxury villa developments, and mixed-use projects.
• Proficient in planning software tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and related systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with international standards and contract forms (FIDIC, etc.).
• GCC experience preferred from UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia.
