Job summary

A leading company in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to develop and maintain project schedules, conduct delay analysis, and assist with reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience in project planning, alongside expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project planning.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Site experience and EOT analysis knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project baseline programs and schedules.
• Conduct delay analysis and assist with EOT claims.

Job description

• Develop and maintain project baseline programs and schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Coordinate with project teams to review plans, resources, and progress.
• Conduct delay analysis and assist with EOT (Extension of Time) claims.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports, KPIs, and presentations.
• Support budget preparation and internal resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and project requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, consultants).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project planning.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method and project scheduling.
• Excellent time management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Site experience and EOT analysis knowledge preferred.
