Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage large-scale bridge and infrastructure construction projects in Dubai. You will design and maintain detailed schedules, coordinate with site teams, and ensure timely delivery on Etihad Rail and related works.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree with 7+ years’ planning and project controls experience in UAE, including 2 Dubai projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of planning/controls experience in construction.
• Minimum 5 years in the proposed role on projects of similar size and complexity in UAE.
• Involvement in at least 2 Dubai projects in the last 5 years.
• Excellent English and knowledge of Dubai authorities procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Prepare cost-loaded and resource-loaded programs with change logs and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate with site, procurement, and subcontractors to align with baselines and manage risks.
• Produce look-ahead programs, progress reports, mitigation and recovery plans.
• Lead progress meetings and provide updates to management and client representatives.
