The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the development team in Construction phases of Arada development projects. This role involves creating, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using Primavera, reviewing reports and plans from different project parties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and providing valuable insights to guide decision-making. The Planning Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project planning and execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for multiple real estate development projects, ensuring alignment with the overall development strategy. Lead the development of master project plans, incorporating all phases of development including site acquisition, design, permitting, construction, and handover. Coordinate with internal development, design, and construction teams to align on project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
Monitoring & Tracking: Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are adhered to, and project milestones are met. Prepare and present regular project updates and progress reports to senior management, highlighting key issues, milestones, and corrective actions. Implement tools and processes to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project deliverables. Identify potential project risks related to timing, budget, resources, and regulatory approvals, and implement mitigation strategies. Address and resolve issues affecting project schedules and ensure that any changes in scope or delays are effectively managed and communicated.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Coordinate with external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure the timely delivery of project components. Foster strong relationships with relevant parties to ensure smooth permit approvals and adherence to zoning and construction codes. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project schedules, changes, and requirements.
Quality Assurance & Reporting: Oversee the quality assurance of planning activities, ensuring that schedules, budgets, and planning deliverables meet the standards expected by the developer. Provide high-level reporting on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Certification in Primavera P6 or advanced proficiency in its application.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, preferably within master real estate development or similar industries.
Proven track record of working in pre-contract phases of large-scale projects.
Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including design, procurement, and construction.
Skills and Competencies:
Expertise in Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle, pre-contract processes, and real estate development workflows.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
