Position: Planning Engineer

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) or relevant degree, with a civil engineering background and at least ten years of experience in design and construction programming/planning of similar projects.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:

1. Develop the Project execution plan considering proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences.
2. Set targets for activities based on each project activity and ensure it meets specifications and requirements.
3. Estimate timescales and costs using specialized software packages (Primavera).
4. Monitor day-to-day work progress and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports, communicating potential delays or slippages.
5. Track and analyze field results, compare planned and actual progress, and report differences to the lead project manager.
6. Study the impact of alternative approaches.
