Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with a strong background in Thermal Power Plant projects and hands-on expertise in Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely execution of all project phases, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of thermal power plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
  
• Prepare detailed project plans, baselines, and progress reports.
  
• Monitor project progress and compare it with the baseline schedule.
  
• Identify schedule deviations, critical paths, and potential delays; recommend mitigation strategies.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
  
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports including S-Curves, histograms, and earned value analysis (EVA).
  
• Coordinate and participate in project review meetings and client interactions.
  
• Support planning during shutdowns, outages, maintenance, and new installations.
  
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
