A leading contracting company in Dubai is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage and develop project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 3-7 years of relevant experience, with expertise in scheduling, delay analysis, and resource planning.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in construction planning, preferably in Dubai.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Certifications such as PMP and/or PSP preferred.

Job description

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Prepare baseline programs lookahead schedules progress updates delay analysis and recovery plans Track project milestones deliverables resources and cost implications Generate weekly and monthly reports Scurves histograms and progress dashboards Coordinate with internal teams consultants subcontractors and stakeholders Conduct schedule deviation analysis and recommend corrective actions Attend and contribute to progress meetings onsite and clientlevel Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and local regulations Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field 37 years of experience in construction planning preferably in Dubai UAE Proficiency in Primavera P6 MS Project and MS Excel Knowledge of construction sequencing and resource planning Certifications such as PMP and or PSP preferred UAE Driving License preferred
