Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with proven experience in solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of solar projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including baseline, revised, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to address potential delays or issues.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to negotiate costs and schedules.
• Document lessons learned and provided recommendations for future projects.
• Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6) for scheduling andreporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning and executing solar energy projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of solar energy systems and renewable energy technologies is a must.

Skills:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Familiarity with local and international standards for solar projects.
