We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with proven experience in solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful execution of solar projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including baseline, revised, and recovery plans.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and timelines.
Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to address potential delays or issues.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare detailed progress reports.
Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure timely project delivery.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to negotiate costs and schedules.
Document lessons learned and provided recommendations for future projects.
Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6) for scheduling andreporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related field).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning and executing solar energy projects.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Knowledge of solar energy systems and renewable energy technologies is a must.
Skills:
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Familiarity with local and international standards for solar projects.
