Responsibilities

Our latest opportunity is for a talented Planning Engineer to join our team based in Al Ain, UAE.

We envisage success in this role to include:

  1. Creating detailed project schedules using software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring all activities and milestones are identified.
  2. Tracking the progress of the project, identifying any delays, and implementing corrective actions to stay on schedule.
  3. Coordinating and effectively allocating resources, ensuring manpower, materials, and equipment are available when needed.
  4. Identifying potential risks related to project timelines and developing mitigation strategies.
  5. Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for the project manager, clients, and other stakeholders.
  6. Supporting the project team in controlling project costs by ensuring work is completed on schedule and within the budget.
  7. Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure schedule alignment and resolve discrepancies.
  8. Continuously analyzing the schedule and suggesting improvements or adjustments to increase efficiency.
  9. Ensuring all work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  10. Assessing the impact of scope changes or variations on the project schedule and communicating these impacts effectively to the team.
Qualifications

To succeed in this dynamic role, we expect your career to include over 8 years of work experience, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.

Experience gained from working on large-scale Infrastructure projects in the UAE is preferred.
