A leading company in the energy sector seeks an experienced Planning Engineer to manage project schedules and ensure compliance with progress measurement procedures. The ideal candidate will have EPC project experience, particularly with ADNOC or TRANSCO, and proficiency in scheduling tools.
- Develop and manage project schedules, measure progress and generate reports throughout all phases of the EPC project
- Review, verify and consolidate subcontractors' schedules and progress reports, ensuring compliance with the project's overall schedule and progress measurement procedure
- Measure and monitor the EPC progress based on the project weightage management and progress measurement procedure
- Prepare and issue daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
- Monitor and analyse the productivity of various disciplines during construction and commissioning phases
- Prepare materials for internal and external progress meetings, participate in meetings, and record meeting minutes
- Collaborate with contract management and cost control teams to support and update project claims
- Maintain project records and archive historical information on the project in various formats
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4 to 12 years of experience in schedule management, planning or project controls
- EPC project experience required (preferably with ADNOC or TRANSCO projects)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Skilled in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
