Job summary

LAZOURDY is seeking a Planning Engineer with a civil engineering background to join our contracting team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and related PM tools.

You will develop baseline programs, manage WBS, create schedules, and generate weekly/monthly progress reports. Regular team meetings and progress reviews are required to keep milestones achievable and aligned with the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 8+ years field experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Baseline Program, WBS, activities and milestones.
• Use Primavera P6 to create and update schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with S-curves and Gantt charts.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address scheduling issues.
• Monitor progress against baseline and identify delays or deviations.
• Ensure schedule aligns with execution strategy and milestones are achievable.
• Develop S Curve and manpower histogram.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil/ with 8+ years’ experience in the Construction Field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Experience: Proficiency in project management software, Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project Baseline Program, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activities, and milestones.
• Utilize project management software, Primavera P6, to create and update schedules.
• Prepare and update Project Weekly & Monthly progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and other visual aids.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address scheduling issues.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or deviations.
• Ensure that schedule is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable
• Develop S Curve and Manpower histogram.
