JOB PURPOSE:
The Planning and Logistics Manager is responsible for leading planning and logistics operations across the Multimedia and Lifestyle division. He/she ensures effective forecasting, replenishment, inventory management, and logistics execution while driving operational excellence and business continuity across multiple countries and channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound/outbound flow, store replenishment, RTVs, and inventory movement across retail locations and the central distribution center in UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain, ensuring timely deliveries and operational accuracy.
- Lead the demand and supply planning cycle by managing forecasts, commercial adjustments, replenishment policies, and capacity constraints while aligning supply plans with working capital and vendor capabilities.
- Supervise and develop a cross-functional team responsible for logistics, forecasting, and planning by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and supporting onboarding, coaching, and continuous development.
- Act as the operational escalation point for both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring resolution of issues and alignment across functions and partners. Collaborate with Retail, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance teams to synchronize forecasts, promotional plans, replenishment needs, and sell-through expectations; represent the function in operational and S&OP meetings.
- Monitor and report on operational and inventory KPIs, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and external regulatory requirements while identifying gaps and recommending process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data across ERP (D365), WMS, and planning systems; support the implementation of new tools and the enhancement of supply chain systems and SOPs.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
QAULIFICATIONS :
- Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus
- Proficiency in ERP systems, demand planning tools, and operational excellence programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- Seven to nine years of experience in Supply Chain Management, or a similar role
- Four years of experience in a managerial role.
