About The Role
Currie & Brown is looking for a Planner for a prestigious Villa project based in Dubai. You will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop and manage the master programme for the project.
  2. Ongoing monitoring and reporting of all programme-related activities.
  3. Proactive management of contractor's programme.
  4. Detailed reviews of contractor programme.
  5. Monitoring the planning and project controls works for conformance with project procedures.
  6. Develop and monitor the permitting and authority approvals process for the project.
  7. Prepare baseline programme.
  8. Prepare monthly reports and recovery plans (when applicable).
  9. Preparing and finalizing weekly progress report submissions and weekly quantity reports.
  10. Provide the Project Manager with weekly progress updates, forecast completions, together with critical path and trend analyses.
  11. Consistent assessment of the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and what-if scenarios to aid project management decision-making.
  12. Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Engineer, and Contractor in resolving any and all project schedule issues.
  13. Review and analyze contractors claims and prepare recommendations reports.

Skills, experience & qualifications:

  1. Experience working on Villa projects.
  2. BSc in relevant discipline.
  3. Must have considerable pre-contract and post-contract experience on major projects.
  4. Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
  5. Experience with P6 software.
