Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it’s umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker’s, Grind, Somewhere and Public.

We currently have a number of exciting Pizza Chef positions across the UAE supporting existing teams as well as building new teams as part of pre-opening. Supporting the Sous Chef in running your designated section effectively, our Pizza Chefs play a vital role in ensuring the food we produce for our guests is of the highest standards. Some key responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
• Assisting with the management of health and safety and ensuring that the team are complying to food hygiene practices
• Managing and training any Commis Chefs
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

To be considered for this role, you will come from a high-cover environment with experience working with either Arabic, French or Italian cuisine. Given the diversity of our teams, strong communication skills are essential.
