Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and industry codes (ASME, API, ANSI).
Qualification (minimum):
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Diploma in Mechanical engineering is preferred.

Experience (minimum):
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in piping construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in the oil and gas industry.
Experience on the brown field job will be an added advantage.
Relevant certifications in welding, piping, or safety (e.g., AWS, OSHA) are advantageous.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Assist the Head and Senior Piping Engineer in implementing project plans, schedules, and supervise and coordinate the project execution in an efficient and effective manner, execute project within the approved budgetary limits, and monitor the actual expenditure against budgets.
Oversee on-site piping activities and manage personnel to ensure work is completed on time and meets the specifications.
Lead teams, coordinate with various departments and ensure that all piping work complies with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
Follow relevant project procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Assist the development, implementation, and regular review of policies, procedures, and systems related to the project to ensure consistent & systematic application of best practices and to improve operational performance.
Communicate the approved policies & procedures and instructions to staff and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a systematic and controlled manner.
Monitor the quality of material, equipment, and technical skills deployed in project services provided by external contractors to ensure reliability, integrity, and phased acceptance of their work in line with relevant quality standards.
Conduct regular project review meetings with Contractors to discuss and resolve any technical issues as and when required to ensure completion of all contracts in a safe and professional manner.
Plan and coordinate work activities with the team, prioritize tasks, and ensure their timely completion in accordance with defined procedures and standards.
Analyse and perform risk assessments for all work orders and prepare the Permit to Work (PTW) to ensure effective risk mitigation and completion of tasks as per company’s Quality and HSE procedures.
Conduct periodic inspections during installation and construction activities to ensure system quality and compliance with project requirements.
Monitor and review job progress related to construction disciplines, including but not limited to schedules, daily/weekly/monthly plans.
Liaise with contractor personnel and relevant authorities to provide support and advice, ensuring proper project execution in alignment with established procedures, specifications, and allocated budgets.
Perform phased acceptance of completed work to confirm compliance with relevant quality standards.
Carry out field testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems are fully operational.
Conduct inspections to validate construction and installation work in accordance with project specifications.
Hold regular project review meetings with contractors to discuss and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring safe and professional contract completion.
Oversee daily site operations, including supervision and monitoring of construction/installation work, while addressing and resolving any unexpected technical difficulties or challenges that may arise.
Assist the Assistant Head of Processing in the smooth implementation of the project works as appropriate upon approval by the PI Manager and concerned Departments.
Contribute suggestions and insights for the ongoing enhancement of Section practices, systems, and processes, considering global best practices and international standards to improve efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity.

Proficient in reviewing and signing off the Test packs prepared by the EPC contractors.

In charge person in planning and conducting the line walkthrough, System walkthrough, PSSR, Hydrotest, Pneumatic test, Leak test, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Responsible to review, comment and approve all the construction documents at site.
