Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Relevant piping, construction safety, or oil & gas project certifications may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day piping fabrication, erection, installation, and site activities.
• Coordinate piping crews and allocate manpower according to project priorities and schedules.
• Interpret piping isometrics, layouts, specifications, and related technical documents.
• Monitor piping installation for compliance with drawings, specs, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, safety, construction and other site teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure piping work adheres to applicable HSE procedures and permit requirements.
• Monitor progress and communicate site status, constraints and material needs to project management.
• Support inspection, testing, punch-list clearance, and completion activities for piping systems.
