Job Description

Job Role: The Senior Piping Material Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing piping material engineering activities for various projects. This role involves ensuring the selection, specification, and procurement of piping materials meet project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. The Senior Piping Material Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Expected Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in piping material engineering, especially in large-scale projects within industries like oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of piping materials, standards, and codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API). Proficiency in material selection and specification development.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, capable of conveying technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues.
