Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.

Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.

Role Summary:

The Piping Designer (SP3D) will be responsible for creating and developing piping system designs using SP3D (Smart Plant 3D) software, ensuring that all designs comply with project requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards. The role requires close collaboration with other engineering disciplines and team members throughout the project lifecycle, from initial engineering through to startup and operation.

  • Create piping system designs and layouts using SP3D and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers and other disciplines to ensure design integration.
  • Assist in the timely execution of piping design activities.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior designers.
  • Interact with ADNOC counterparts to align with client requirements.
  • Review designs for accuracy and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.

What you will need to have:

  • BE or equivalent in MechanicalEngineering
  • Experience with SP3D, AutoCAD, and piping design codes.
  • Technical competence in basic & detailed engineering with strong technical background, and advanced analytical skills in basic and detailed engineering design from project feasibility stage to plant commissioning and startup
  • Previous exposure to international environment
  • Experience using relevant commercial software applicable to Oil & Gas projects
  • In depth knowledge of international codes & standards, international design guidelines & recommendations
  • Experience in Environmental regulatory requirements (local, international), review and understanding of local Environmental Laws would be a definite advantage
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
