Job summary

EOS & SGS Recruitment Company is seeking a Pipeline HT & Precommissioning Engineer to lead subsea hydrotesting and precommissioning activities in Abu Dhabi. The role requires extensive field experience with EPCI contractors and strong coordination with project teams.

You will develop technical documentation, prepare operational schedules, perform calculations for materials and equipment, and supervise subcontractors on both onshore and offshore pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in subsea pipelines precommissioning.
• Minimum 5 years with EPCI Contractors in engineering, procurement, fabrication and site operations.
• Ability to develop technical documentation for hydrotesting and precommissioning.
• Proven ability to coordinate with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation related to hydrotesting and precommissioning per bid or project requirements.
• Draw up operational schedules for hydrotesting and precommissioning with other engineers.
• Perform calculations to select materials, consumables and equipment for hydrotesting and precommissioning.
• Design temporary items for hydrotesting and follow fabrication processes.
• Evaluate proposals from hydrotesting subcontractors and support procurement.
• Attend internal and client meetings to discuss technical aspects.
• Notify project management of issues with other engineering areas.
• Supervise the hydrotesting and precommissioning subcontractor during engineering and project phases.
• Monitor on-site hydrotesting activities for onshore and offshore pipeline projects.

Pipeline HT & Precommissioning Engineer

Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of subsea pipelines precommissioning.
• Candidate should possess a minimum 5 years with EPCI Contractors in engineering procurement fabrication and site operations.
• Report to the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning Lead or to his direct responsible on either the project or bid organizations
• Develop the technical documentation related to the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning activities defined by either the bid or project requirements
• Draw up the operational schedule related to the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning operations in liaison with other function engineers
• Perform all the necessary calculations and verification to define the proper selection of material consumable and equipment necessary to perform the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning operation
• Design of the temporary items to be prefabricated for the of the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning operation and follow up the fabrication process
• Evaluate the technical and commercial proposals received by the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning subcontractor and issue the relevant TBEs to procurement department to finalize the selection
• Attend meetings both internal and with Client to examine and discuss the technical aspects of the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning activity
• Notify his direct responsible and the Project Manager of any problems occurring with any other engineering areas
• Supervise the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning Subcontractor during both engineering and phases of the project
• Follow up the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning activity on site for both the onshore and oshore pipeline projects
