Job summary

Everserve Consultants is seeking an experienced commissioning professional in the United Arab Emirates to lead mechanical, pipeline, piping and process-system commissioning on site. You will plan, supervise and document activities, ensuring readiness and timely execution aligned with project safety standards.

Collaborating with engineering, construction and QA/QC teams, you will develop procedures, checklists and schedules, supporting safe start-ups and efficient handovers to operations.

Qualifications

• Prior oil & gas construction experience with process plants, refineries, flowlines, gathering stations or pipelines.
• Experience planning and supervising commissioning of mechanical, pipeline, piping and process systems on-site.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, construction and QA/QC teams to transition from construction to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise the commissioning activities of mechanical, pipeline, piping, and process systems at the site.
• Review and verify system readiness prior to commissioning including line checking, punch listing, flushing, and drying activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and QA/QC teams to ensure seamless transition from construction to commissioning.
• Develop and implement commissioning procedures, checklists, and schedules in alignment with project requirements and safety protocols.
• Ensure safe start-up of systems and troubleshoot operational issues during commissioning and start-up phases.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and subcontractors for timely mobilization and execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks.
• Monitor and document commissioning activities and generate test reports, loop checks, and equipment performance verification records.
• Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors to ensure that all commissioning tasks meet industry standards and project specifications.
