Work Schedule: 5 Days on / 2 Days off | 9 hours per day
Start Date: Immediate (preferably candidates based in the UAE)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Pipeline Engineer to support an ongoing project from April 2025 to August 2025. This role requires an individual with at least 5 years of experience in onshore pipeline/piping design calculations and strong expertise in pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software. The ideal candidate should be based in the UAE and available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Engineering Activities: Perform design tasks as assigned by the Lead Engineer in accordance with standard engineering practices and project-specific requirements.
- Independent Work & Proactive Approach: Able to work with little or no supervision, manage pressure, and collaborate effectively with the team.
- Time & Quality Management: Ensure design activities are completed within the allotted man-hours, and deadlines are met for all deliverables.
- Deliverable Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables are checked for accuracy and completeness using appropriate checklists prior to submission for final technical review.
- Documentation & Audits: Ensure all design deliverables are properly documented and accessible for quality audits.
- Meeting & Coordination: Provide design inputs in project review meetings, vendor meetings, and coordinate with project team members, specialists, or vendors as needed.
- Vendor Support & Documentation Review: Assist in providing technical inputs requested by vendors, raising TQ (Technical Queries), TBT (Toolbox Talks), and reviewing vendor documents/drawings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in onshore and/or offshore pipeline projects, with at least 3 years of experience in pipeline projects and expertise in pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software.
- Knowledge of Design Codes & Standards: Familiar with industry pipeline design codes and standards such as DNV, API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, NACE, Shell DEP, AGES, AON, AOF, etc.
- Additional Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications in engineering or membership in professional bodies would be an advantage.

- Excellent coordination skills with various stakeholders and vendors.
