Job summary

Careers International is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee pipe fabrication projects from planning through installation. You will coordinate design, procurement, fabrication, testing, and commissioning while ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and safety requirements.

The position requires hands-on leadership and meticulous documentation. You will manage schedules, budgets, and resources, report progress to stakeholders, drive quality assurance, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Experience as a project engineer in pipe fabrication.
• Strong understanding of pipe systems and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD, Outlook, Word, Excel; JD Edwards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design pipe systems in line with codes, standards, and project specs.
• Coordinate material procurement and oversee fabrication quality.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines; identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Oversee installation and commissioning with construction teams.
• Maintain documentation, drawings, fabrication records, and as-built reports.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
