Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting on behalf of a newly launched Middle East trading business in Dubai to lead buy-side sourcing and sell-side execution. The role involves building supplier networks across electronics and IT, optimizing deals, and maximizing margins in fast-moving markets.

You will work closely with the founder to establish a scalable trading platform and expand the partner ecosystem across regional markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B wholesale trading, distribution, or commodity dealing
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals
• Existing supplier or buyer network in electronics, IT, or related categories

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop supplier relationships across Electronics & IT brands, authorised distributors, retailers, and grey-market channels
• Source excess stock, promotional inventory, end-of-life product lines, and fast-moving opportunistic deals
• Build a consistent pipeline of quality supply across target product categories
• Define and execute pricing and margin strategies to maximise gross margin
• Negotiate price, payment terms, and volume commitments with suppliers
• Manage outbound distribution to qualified buyers and respond to RFQs
• Maintain long-term trading relationships with buyers and suppliers
