Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai is seeking a dedicated PICU Nurse to join a pediatric critical care team. You will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, monitor patients closely, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in PICU or equivalent, a valid DHA license, and BLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of PICU or similar pediatric critical care experience.
Valid DHA License.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
Strong clinical skills, pediatric care knowledge, and ability to manage high-stress situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with children and families.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and manage life-support equipment.
Collaborate with pediatricians, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Support families by offering clear communication, emotional reassurance, and education on treatment plans and recovery.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all care provided.
Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in emergency response situations and pediatric resuscitation.
