NLT 2 years post graduate experience as a Physiotherapist in a large hospital in relevant experience with patients with same diagnosis seen in acute care hospital or Rehab Facilities. Wide background is preferred (i.e. ICU, acute medical/surgical, pediatrics). UAE National upon completion of internship.

Educational Qualification: Required:
BSc in Physiotherapy,
Graduate from an accredited Diploma course in Physiotherapy (NLT 3 years syllabus). AND Current National License.

Master's in Rehabilitation Services or relevant clinical MSc in related field (will reduce 1 year from the required years of experience).
Responsibilities:
Assists the senior physiotherapist to ensure the physiotherapy service to the assigned unit/s is efficient and effective.
Contributes to the sustainable implementation of plans (strategic, financial, quality/patient safety, accessibility/marketing, manpower/cultural diversity, risk, infection control, equipment/technology) for effective and efficient business and clinical practice and patient satisfaction for the designated unit/units.
Receives guidance and development from supervisor/senior on their units/designated areas for objective setting, appraisals, skill and equipment competency and training, duty rosters, annual leave, supervision and reflective practice and the delegation of tasks.
Ensures awareness and alignment with vision, mission, values, national licensing, organizational & departmental policies, clinical guidelines, mandatory competencies (e.g. Basic Life Support, Infection Control, Fire Safety, etc) and SSMC compliance guidelines.
Pro-active clinical and environmental risk identification.
May take responsibility for day to day operations of assigned unit/s in the absence of a senior.
Clinical competency in assigned specialist area/s.
Development of effective teaching skills and experience for facilitation of interns/students.
Facilitates the delivery of high standard of specialized clinical care of patients in the designated unit/s. Use evidence-based practice to guide informed consent, assessment, goal setting/treatment planning, effective treatment, evaluation/re-evaluation of outcomes and appropriate progression/discharge planning.
Communicating effectively with patients, relatives and other care providers on a group or individual basis in order to maximize rehabilitative potential. This may require explanation, instruction, persuasion, motivation, negotiation and reassurance or the use of behavioral modification techniques.
Maintaining and assisting in the enforcement of up-to-date clinical and professional knowledge development, according to organizational/unit/s requirements (e.g. minimum of CPD / CME hours per year required for re-licensing).
Assists with maintenance of sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties by following procedures for the management of these items.
Accountabilities:
