Job summary

Aster DM Healthcare Limited is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to assess and address patient rehabilitation needs across our facilities. You will work with clinicians to plan and deliver effective physiotherapy sessions and ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role requires a Bachelor in Physical Therapy, DHA license, English fluency (Arabic preferred) and at least 2 years in a hospital setting, with strong communication and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy from a reputed institution.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication skills.

• DHA license/Eligibility Letter.

Responsibilities

• Perform and administer physiotherapy treatment/session, planned by the Consultant for all in & Out Patients.
• Emphasize patient care and safety; meet departmental goals as instructed by the consultant.
• Report patient progress and maintain department statistics; supervise Physiotherapy technicians.
• Maintain safe functioning equipment and ensure infection control compliance.
• Assist in procurement discussions with Rehabilitation Manager for equipment and updates.

Your Role:

The Physiotherapist will identify and assess the physiotherapy needs of the patients, in consultation with the clinicians. The role will identify and advise the Rehabilitation Manager in the procurement of equipment in the area of specialty and to keep abreast of the latest developments in the profession. And keep the safety and interests of the patient uppermost at all times and provide service that is comparable to the accepted standards in your profession.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform and administer physiotherapy treatment / session, planned by the Consultant for all in & Out Patients.

Emphasize towards patient care as well as the safety satisfaction of patients. Achieve the goal and objects as instructed for the patient and department by consultant.

Seek the advice of consultant concerting charges occurring for the condition of patient even before termination the planned program of treatment. Report the progress of the patient and to maintain department statistics. Supervise the Physiotherapy technicians and implantation of all aspects of Physical Therapeutic Exercise and Physical modalities.

Responsible for the safety of the patients and safety and security of all machines and equipments.

Maintain safe functioning equipments by regular checks and requested to purchase the accessories.

Adhere strict to the infection control and implement with technician and other staff.

Train the technician to achieve high standard and quality of the treatment and orientation of the policy and procedure for all staff and new staff as well.

Comply special restrictions pertaining to Emirates laws and customs.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy from a reputed institution.

2 years minimum experience in similar position and in a hospital set up will be preferred.

Strong communication skills are required.

Must be a computer literate.

DHA license/Eligibility Letter is a must.

Fluent in English is required. Arabic is preferred.
