Job description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary team starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching IGCSE Physics and a deep understanding of the British Curriculum.


Key Responsibilities:

Prepare students effectively for IGCSE Physics examinations

Plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction

Create a stimulating and well-managed learning environment

Participate in school events parent meetings and extracurricular activities

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and cross-curricular learning

  • Stay up to date with developments in science education and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Physics or a closely related subject

Recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE . QTS)

Minimum 2 years experience teaching Physics including IGCSE (A Level experience desirable)

Strong understanding of the British Curriculum and assessment frameworks

Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills

Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

ADEK approval or eligibility is a plus
