We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary team starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching IGCSE Physics and a deep understanding of the British Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare students effectively for IGCSE Physics examinations
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction
  • Create a stimulating and well-managed learning environment
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and cross-curricular learning
  • Stay up to date with developments in science education and contribute to continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related subject
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., QTS)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Physics, including IGCSE (A Level experience desirable)
  • Strong understanding of the British Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills
  • Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ADEK approval or eligibility is a plus
