Salary:

  • Competitive salary depending on experience: 11300 - 18000 AED per month (2200 - 3600 per month).

ResponsibilitiesClassroom Instruction
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Physics for students in KS4 to KS5 that align with the Cambridge curriculum standards.
  • Use evidence-based teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities in the classroom ensuring all students have equal access to success.
Student Development
  • Foster a positive supportive classroom culture that encourages collaboration creativity and critical thinking.
  • Provide constructive consistent feedback to students on their academic progress and achievements.
  • Track assess and report student performance identifying areas for support and tailored instruction to ensure student growth.
Enrichment & Curriculum Engagement
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that go beyond the textbook to create innovative real-world applications in physics.
  • Promote STEM-related extracurricular activities and inspire students to explore Physics-related careers and interests.
Collaboration & School Community
  • Work closely with colleagues parents and school leadership to contribute to a cohesive inclusive school environment.
  • Participate in school events initiatives and professional development programs.
QualificationsRequired
  • A Bachelors degree in Physics or a related field (Masters degree is an advantage).
  • A recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE . QTS or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Physics ideally within the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE/A-Level).
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
Preferred
  • Experience working in an international school or a multicultural setting.
  • Familiarity with technology integration into the classroom.
  • A commitment to creating inclusive and equitable educational experiences for all students.
  • Ability to inspire a love for learning and instill an enthusiasm for Physics and scientific exploration.
Day-to-Day Duties
  • Deliver interactive classes where students engage deeply in critical thinking and problem-solving in Physics.
  • Prepare and grade assignments tests and labs in accordance with the Cambridge Assessment guidelines.
  • Use diverse instructional materials and techniques to make Physics accessible and relatable to all learners.
  • Foster individual student potential through one-on-one support mentoring and academic guidance.
  • Actively participate in parent-teacher conferences and collaborate with the schools wider community to encourage the holistic development of each student.
