Job summary

Adecco Holding Emirates B.V. (Dubai Branch) seeks an experienced tutor to deliver Physics and Math instruction for IB Diploma, IGCSE, GCSE, and AP programs.

You will design lesson plans, revision strategies, and exam techniques tailored to each student’s needs, while administering mock exams and providing targeted feedback. You will monitor progress, update records, and communicate with parents and guardians about targets, attendance, and upcoming assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Education, or a closely related field.
• Proven hands-on experience teaching Physics and Math for the IB Diploma Program.
• Experience with Standard Level and Higher-Level content.
• Experience teaching Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel AS/A Level Physics and Math.
• Experience teaching AP Physics (AP Physics 1/2/ C: Mechanics/E&M) is desirable.
• Familiarity with IGCSE and GCSE Physics across Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA, or OCR.
• Strong track record of improving student grades and examination performance.
• Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physics and Math tutoring for IB, IGCSE, GCSE, and AP curricula.
• Design structured lesson plans, revision plans, and exam strategies.
• Administer timed mock exams and provide feedback and follow-up lessons.

Deliver personalized one-on-one and small-group tutoring in Physics and Math Teach students preparing for IBDP AS A Levels IGCSE GCSE AP Calculus AP Physics and other international qualifications Provide expert support for Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel Physics and Math specifications Design structured lesson plans revision programmes and examination strategies based on each student s needs Explain complex mathematical and scientific concepts using clear practical and student-friendly methods Administer timed mock examinations topic tests and past papers under examination conditions Mark student work accurately and provide detailed feedback corrections and targeted follow-up lessons Identify conceptual gaps calculation errors and examination-technique weaknesses Track and report student progress adjusting teaching strategies where required Prepare high-quality worksheets worked examples revision notes and board-specific question sets Support students with problem-solving data analysis mathematical modelling practical concepts and extended-response questions Communicate proactively with students and parents or guardians regarding progress targets attendance and upcoming assessments Maintain accurate records of lessons homework assessments and student performance Stay current with syllabus changes mark schemes command terms examiner reports grade boundaries and assessment requirements Work collaboratively with the academic and counselling teams to support students overall academic goals

• Minimum Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Education, or a closely related field.
• Proven, hands-on experience teaching or tutoring Physics and Math for the IB Diploma Program will be preferred.
• Strong experience with both Standard Level and Higher-Level content is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel AS/A Level Physics and Math.
• Solid experience preparing students for AP Physics.
• Experience teaching AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and/or AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with IGCSE and GCSE Physics across Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA, or OCR.
• Understanding of American curriculum Physics is an advantage.
• Demonstrable track record of improving student grades, examination results, and academic confidence.
• Previous professional tutoring, coaching, or classroom teaching experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of board‑specific examination techniques, mark schemes, and assessment objectives.
