Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to establish their rehabilitation needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices in rehabilitation.
  • Monitor patient progress closely and make necessary adjustments to treatment as required.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, recovery techniques, and self-management strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to remain current in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records.
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects as deemed appropriate.
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is mandatory.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the relevant state.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, particularly in rehabilitation medicine.
  • Strong understanding of various rehabilitation therapies and techniques.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
