Job summary

Dubai British School Emirates Hills invites an outstanding Physical Education Teacher to deliver GCSE, A Level and BTEC Sport. You will coach netball and teach across a wide range of sports, inspiring participation and driving high academic and athletic outcomes in a fast-paced international setting.

The role requires a PE degree with MOFA attestation, QTS or equivalent, and at least two years’ teaching experience within the English National Curriculum in the UK or UAE.

Qualifications

• High Quality Degree in Physical Education (MOFA attested).
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent (MOFA attested).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in the National Curriculum for England in the UK or UAE.
• GCSE, A Level and/or BTEC Sport teaching experience.
• Strong netball coaching ability across a wide range of sports.
• Ability to deliver inspirational lessons with a track record of good results.
• Commitment to the wellbeing of all students.
• Willingness to contribute to school life and adapt to an international environment.
• Proven track record of outstanding results as a leading subject teacher.
• Cleared police and safeguarding background checks.

The role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality GCSE, A Level and BTEC Sport lessons, combining strong subject expertise with excellent pedagogical practice. The teacher will be an exceptional netball coach with the ability to teach confidently across a wide range of sports, developing performance, teamwork and competitive excellence. The role requires someone who inspires participation and ambition, builds a culture of high expectations, and helps students achieve at the highest academic and athletic levels.
