Job summary

BENO in Dubai seeks a photographer with a strong luxury lifestyle portfolio to own still photography across supercars, yachts, desert experiences, events, and hospitality. You will occasionally operate as a videographer and collaborate closely with the Head of Media and Creative Director on shoot concepts.

The role emphasizes high-end color correction, lighting on reflective surfaces, and delivering assets for social and marketing channels.

Qualifications

• Proven photography experience with a portfolio.
• Experience with Sony mirrorless cameras and lighting.
• Fluent in English, strong storytelling and color correction.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience (Dubai preferred).

Responsibilities

• Capture photography for social media, website, ads, and promotional campaigns
• Work closely with the Head of Media / Creative Director and Producer to execute visual concepts and shoot plans
• Photograph luxury lifestyle experiences, including supercars, yachts, watersports, desert experiences, events, hospitality venues, and exclusive client moments
• Deliver strong composition, lighting, and storytelling aligned with BENO's visual identity
• Edit and retouch photos to maintain a consistent, high-end finish
• Deliver optimized formats for social, marketing, and digital platforms
• Organize and manage photo assets and file delivery
• Adapt quickly across live shoots, events, and changing conditions
• Apply specialized lighting technique for reflective and high-gloss surfaces, a core skill for automotive and yacht photography
• Direct subjects and suggest optimal positioning for asset shoots, guiding crew or models to get the best shots
• Operate as videographer on larger productions when needed, providing supplemental footage
• Flexible to work outside standard hours or on weekends for specific shoots or events

Role Overview

This role owns still photography across BENO's productions: supercars, yachts, desert experiences, events, hospitality, and client moments, with a secondary ability to operate as a videographer. Candidates are evaluated primarily on their stills portfolio; video capability is a secondary consideration.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photography for social media, website, ads, and promotional campaigns
• Work closely with the Head of Media / Creative Director and Producer to execute visual concepts and shoot plans
• Photograph luxury lifestyle experiences, including supercars, yachts, watersports, desert experiences, events, hospitality venues, and exclusive client moments
• Deliver strong composition, lighting, and storytelling aligned with BENO's visual identity
• Edit and retouch photos to maintain a consistent, high-end finish
• Deliver optimized formats for social, marketing, and digital platforms
• Organize and manage photo assets and file delivery
• Adapt quickly across live shoots, events, and changing conditions
• Apply specialized lighting technique for reflective and high-gloss surfaces, a core skill for automotive and yacht photography
• Direct subjects and suggest optimal positioning for asset shoots (cars, buggies, watersports, yachts, bicycles, etc.), guiding crew or models to get the best shots, and stay proactive during events to capture key moments as they happen
• Operate as videographer on larger productions when needed, providing supplemental footage, behind-the-scenes coverage, or additional angles (secondary to the core stills role)
• Flexible to work outside standard hours or on weekends for specific shoots or events

Qualifications

• Proven photography experience, portfolio required, and the primary basis for evaluation
• Highly experienced with Sony mirrorless camera systems and lenses, for both photography and videography, with strong command of flash lighting when needed
• Strong proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop for color correction and retouching; this is a must
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling, including reflective surfaces (vehicles, yachts)
• Experience shooting luxury lifestyle, automotive, events, hospitality, or brand content
• Comfortable working with strobe or continuous lighting setups on location
• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions when required, for example aboard boats or in the desert, given the range of environments across BENO's productions
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines across multiple assignments
• Strong AI literacy: comfortable using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Higgsfield to support creative output and workflow. This is a core requirement, not a bonus skill
• Familiar with social media platforms and their content requirements (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, able to communicate and understand everything related to the scope of the work
• Working knowledge of video camera and lighting operation for videography
• A relevant academic degree in photography, film, media, art, marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience (Dubai experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Drone photography experience (GCAA license a plus)
• Understanding of Dubai's visual identity and storytelling style
• Experience working alongside videographers and editors on multi-format shoots

Working Hours

9:00 to 18:00 (Dubai time), with flexibility on shoot days and events.
