Job summary

BENO in Dubai is seeking an in‑office editor and videographer to own post‑production across our luxury lifestyle library, working with the Head of Media and marketing team on a daily basis.

The role focuses on editing, color, and finishing across maritime, automotive, desert, events, and brand work; occasional on‑shoot videography; fast turnarounds; and meticulous file management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience (Dubai experience preferred).
• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, with sound design knowledge.
• Strong AI literacy: comfortable using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Higgsfield across editing, ideation, and day‑to‑day production or communication tasks.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, able to communicate and understand everything related to the scope of the work.

Responsibilities

• Edit and finish versatile video content across maritime (yachts, watersports), automotive, desert experiences, events, brand commercial, and luxury lifestyle productions, covering structure, pacing, and color.
• Build pacing, emotional storytelling, transitions, and visually engaging compositions consistent with BENO's cinematic approach
• Fluent in social‑media‑native editing, current with platform‑specific trends, techniques, and specs for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
• Manage footage ingest, organization, and backup through the department's on‑site NAS system
• Color correct in DaVinci Resolve and handle sound design
• Deliver multiple formats optimized for Reels, TikTok, YouTube, paid ads, and other platform specs
• Turn around same‑day and time‑sensitive edits for events, social, and brand needs
• Maintain a consistent file‑naming and archive structure across the production library
• Operate as videographer on productions when needed, covering additional angles, behind‑the‑scenes footage, or full shoots as required
• Coordinate handoffs with the remote editor on overflow or lower‑priority projects
• Communicate clearly on timelines and flag delays early
• Flexible to work outside standard hours or on weekends when a production requires it

We're hiring an in‑office editor and videographer to own post‑production across the library, working directly alongside the Head of Media and the marketing/media team on a daily basis.

Role Overview

A hands‑on, in‑office role built around post‑production: editing, color, and finishing BENO's video content across maritime, automotive, desert, events, social media, and brand commercial work, in direct collaboration with the Head of Media and the marketing/media team, with videography responsibilities as needed. The role is evaluated primarily on editing craft; camera work is a supporting skill.

Qualifications

• Strong editing portfolio or reel; this is the primary basis for hiring, ahead of camera work
• Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of sound design
• Strong AI literacy: comfortable using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Higgsfield across editing, ideation, and day‑to‑day production or communication tasks. This is a core requirement, not a bonus skill
• Presentable, professional, and clear in communication with the in‑house team, partners, and anyone else involved in the department's productions
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, able to communicate and understand everything related to the scope of the work
• Skilled at cinematic, emotionally-driven cuts, not just fast‑paced trend edits
• Comfortable working in‑office daily and iterating on cuts in real time alongside the team
• Organized and disciplined with file and archive management
• Working knowledge of video camera operation (Sony mirrorless and Cinema Line systems and lenses) for shoots and backup footage
• Knowledgeable in standard production tools and platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Meet, Trello, and other tools relevant to the role)
• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions when required, for example aboard boats or in the desert, given the range of environments across BENO's productions
• Comfortable managing multiple projects under deadline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience (Dubai experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing luxury lifestyle, automotive, maritime, brand promotional, or documentary‑style content
• Understanding of Dubai's visual identity and storytelling style
• Familiarity with NAS‑based or local media workflows
• Motion graphics or simple animation skills (After Effects)

Working Hours

9:00 to 18:00 (Dubai time), in‑office, with flexibility for shoots or urgent deliverables outside standard hours.
