Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Phlebotomy or a related health field.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience in a medical lab.
• Currently licensed to practice in UAE (DOH/DHA/MOH) from country of origin.
• Fluent in English; Arabic a plus.
• Willingness to learn automation and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform the work as assigned meeting ISO 15189:2022/EIAC/JCI standards.
• Perform Blood Draws: collect blood specimens from patients.
• Patient Identification: verify patient information and label samples correctly.
• Prepare and Maintain Equipment: ensure tools are sterile and functioning.
• Patient Comfort and Care: provide a calm, safe environment for patients.
• Maintain Cleanliness: follow hygiene protocols in work areas.
• Record and Document Information: document patient data and procedures.
• Transport Samples: move specimens to the appropriate labs for analysis.
• Follow Safety Protocols: handle and dispose of biohazards per guidelines.
• Monitor Patient Reactions: observe for adverse reactions and report.
• Communicate with Medical Staff: coordinate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain Confidentiality: protect patient health information.
