Job summary

Julphar is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of sterile plant machinery in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or food industries, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus fluency in English and experience with SAP and EQMS systems.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering or Electronics Engineering with strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in pharmaceutical or food industries with sterile equipment and electronics.

Responsibilities

Adhere to cGMP principles while providing engineering support and maintenance activities.
Maintain sterile production and packaging equipment and monitor performance.
Perform planned preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Overhaul and upgrade aging equipment when necessary.
Monitor safety protocols within the Engineering Section.
Generate work completion reports and logs.
Track notifications and job orders through SAP and coordinate with the SAP Coordinator.
Provide training on new equipment and support other departments with engineering solutions.
Monitor spare parts inventory and procurement when minimum levels are reached.
