Job summary

Julphar is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance for Equipment in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical production equipment in line with GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance.
Strong knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience with OSD manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as Tablet, Liquid, and Cream/Ointment manufacturing lines.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement CAPA.
Support equipment qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety standards.
Prepare and review maintenance SOPs and documentation.
Coordinate with Production, QA, and Engineering for maintenance planning and shutdowns.
Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate procurement requests when required.
Lead continuous improvement to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
