Job summary

Julphar in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Costing Specialist to manage manufacturing costing, standard costing, and variance analysis. You will oversee budgeting, COGS forecasting, financial reporting, and cost optimization across production activities.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of standard costing and inventory valuation, and experience with SAP ERP. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing costing is highly valued.

Qualifications

• CMA or CIMA or equivalent certification.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing costing and financial analysis.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze operations expenses against budget and assess variances with root causes.
• Validate production orders with accurate allocation of materials, labour and overhead costs.
• Analyze production variances (material, labour, yield, scrap, overhead) and coordinate actions.
• Prepare variance reports highlighting cost drivers, inefficiencies and savings opportunities.
• Lead monthly costing close activities, cost allocation and reconciliations.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support profitability and operational decisions.
• Support audits with costing data, reconciliations and documentation.
• Participate in ERP and costing system enhancements to improve accuracy.
