Job summary

Julphar in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Costing Specialist to manage manufacturing costing, standard costing, and production variance analysis. You will oversee budgeting, COGS forecasting, financial reporting, and cost optimization across manufacturing operations.

The role requires CMA/CIMA or equivalent, strong pharmaceutical costing experience, and proficiency with SAP. You will partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive cost transparency, dashboards, and audit-ready costing

Qualifications

Experience in pharmaceutical costing and financial analysis.
Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
Experience with SAP ERP systems is preferable.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze operations-related expenses against the budget and assess variances with root causes.
Validate production orders with accurate costing allocations (raw materials, labour, overhead).
Analyze production variances (material, labour, yield, scrap, overhead) and coordinate corrective actions with Production, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Monitor manufacturing performance and prepare variance reports highlighting cost drivers and opportunities.
Support product costing activities, including standard costing, cost estimates, and cost sheets for products.
