Petrochemicals Commodity Trader

DESCRIPTION

The Petrochemicals Products Commodity Trader focuses on business development. Through building customer and vendor relationships, this position will work to expand the purchasing and sales of Arkan group for petrochemicals commodities. The person in this role will also be responsible for identifying new markets and product opportunities that will create value for the customers of Arkan group.

The selected candidate will be required to be familiar with petrochemicals products and general trading (urea, sulphur, dap, PVC, diesel, pet coke, coal, etc.). They also must have proven track records of sales of petrochemicals products or general trading and must have solid leads for genuine buyers and sellers. As an agricultural commodity trader, the individual will require exceptional communication and customer service skills and have a drive to provide excellent service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Obtain market information for business development.
• Negotiate purchase and sale terms with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain communication with logistics department to ensure all logistics are completed and deadlines are met.
• Provide excellent customers service and monitor any active shipments.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent track records and leads of genuine buyers and sellers.
• Be familiar with all kinds of petrochemicals products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding people skills with the ability to negotiate.
• Ability to problem solve and ensure solutions in a timely manner.
• Must be open and willing to learn.
