Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a personal trainer preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, biomechanics, etc.
• CPR/AED certification is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized exercise programs and guidance to clients. The position involves working with clients one-on-one or in small groups to assess their fitness levels and develop personalized exercise plans.

• Assess each client’s current level of fitness and develop individualized goals based on their needs.
• Design customized training programs tailored to the individual client’s needs and goals.
• Demonstrate proper exercise technique and form.
• Monitor progress of clients by tracking changes in heart rate, weight, endurance, flexibility etc.
• Maintain records of client progress and updates on a regular basis.
• Motivate clients by setting realistic goals and providing positive reinforcement throughout the program.
• Provide feedback on how to improve diet or lifestyle choices that may be relevant to their fitness goals.
