A leading bank in the UAE is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to engage clients and promote banking products. You will drive sales through relationship management while ensuring a high standard of customer service in line with the bank's goals. This role requires a strong sales background and excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Overview
As a Personal Banking Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting FAB s asset and liability products to both new and existing clients. You will play a key role in educating customers about FAB s digital channels, identifying opportunities for program upgrades, and ensuring the highest standard of customer experience in line with FAB s NPS targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Cross-sell and upsell FAB products, including loans, accounts, and savings options to customers
* Assist in processing customer service requests including account openings, online banking, and cheque-related services
* Generate referrals for Elite and Elite Gold banking programs through relationship management and profiling
* Drive adoption of FAB s digital channels by assisting customers with mobile app downloads and online demonstrations
* Respond to customer inquiries referred by the call center and ensure resolution with minimal escalation
* Encourage Classic and Advantage customers to use ATMs, online platforms, and call centers for routine banking
* Achieve individual sales and onboarding targets set by branch management
* Participate in daily team sales meetings and contribute ideas for customer acquisition strategies
* Actively promote the FAB customer-obsessed service model, ensuring high NPS and zero complaints
* Follow internal policies, maintain compliance, and complete all mandatory training modules
Required Skills and Experience
* High school graduate; university education is a plus
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the retail banking sector
* Strong understanding of banking products, services, and customer service protocols
* Proven track record in achieving sales targets in a competitive banking environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
* Familiarity with digital banking tools and ability to demonstrate mobile/online features to clients
* Ability to generate and convert customer referrals into business opportunities
* Strong team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
* Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
