Job description

As the Personal Assistant (PA) to the MD, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting key business activities. You will be the right hand of the MD, helping manage communications, scheduling, reporting, and coordination across departments while also assisting with tasks related to accounting and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD's daily schedule, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain professional communication on behalf of the MD: emails, calls, and messages.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding ongoing deals and orders.
  • Assist with tracking purchases, creating basic Excel reports, and managing inventory updates.
  • Support the MD in administrative and project-based tasks.
  • Follow up on deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide support in basic accounting tasks, such as invoice checking, expense tracking, and payment follow-ups.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in an administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Excel reporting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask independently.
  • Proactive mindset with a high level of reliability and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Previous experience supporting C-level executives or founders.
  • Familiarity with Tally or any basic accounting software is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or trading environment is preferred.
