Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Permitting & NOC Engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage all permit applications, NOC submissions, and regulatory approvals for a large-scale Design & Build development on Yas Island. The role owns the permitting process end-to-end, coordinating with authorities and the design consultant to ensure timely approvals.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulatory landscape, hands-on portal experience (TASAREEH, ADDC, ADSSC, DOT, DM)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or Architecture is mandatory.
• Master’s Degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Professional membership with a recognised engineering or planning body is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit permit applications and NOC requests to Abu Dhabi authorities across all project phases.
• Coordinate submissions with DOT, ADDC, ADSSC, DM, TASAREEH, Miral, and telecommunications providers.
• Operate and manage authority portals and digital submission platforms.
• Prepare covering letters, submission forms and supporting docs for each NOC/permit.
• Track submission status, respond to authority comments, and push for timely approvals.
