To lead the event department for Hermes Middle East and take full accountability for end-to-end event management and retail animation.
Responsibilities
- Choose appropriate event and retail activities to support the business strategy, aligned with the company's yearly plans.
- Stay updated on the event and retail portfolio to support various product categories and new collections from Paris HQ every 6 months.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy discussions to determine event timings, target audiences, and locations.
- Adapt and localize international events and retail animations proposed by HQ, challenging guidelines and proposing new ideas suited to the region and clients.
- Collaborate with Client Communication & Press departments to define reach, CRM & PR strategies, and invite the target audience.
- Define owned activations and communication channels for each event.
- Develop owned assets with the creative agency and HQ for each project.
- Act as the regional point of contact with stores and managers, briefing sales teams on upcoming events and objectives.
- Manage the event and retail animation budget, forecast costs, and ensure financial adherence.
- Source and compare suppliers, ensuring quality and fostering good supplier relationships.
- Plan and report on each event, including retro planning and post-event analysis.
- Manage partners and service providers professionally, ensuring Hermes standards are met.
- Oversee event logistics, production, and setup in collaboration with HQ and agencies.
- Coordinate with Paris HQ on the event calendar, briefs, and approvals.
- Report on KPIs and gather post-event feedback.
- Monitor competitors' events and strategies to maintain regional industry awareness.

- Successful delivery of end-to-end events aligning with Hermes and Al Mana Retail standards.
- Achieving attendance targets and collecting qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Seamless execution of retail animation activities in the region.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in event management, preferably in the Middle East.
- Experience in the luxury industry and familiarity with competitor events.
- Understanding of retail business strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, creative, and able to multitask under pressure.
- Flexible with working hours and locations, capable of regional and international travel.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
