MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party.
- Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers.
- Assists in the opening and closing of the store which includes and but not limited to cash handling and deposits.
- Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.
- Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.
- Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.
- Sort and count currency and coins.
- Issue receipts and change to customers.
- Count money at the end and beginning of each shift.
- Process credit card and check payments.
- Perform the duties of customer service representative when required.
- Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.
- Open and close tills.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of transactions efficiently, preferably in retail luxury.
- Demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within a team of at least 10 staff members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and highly observant.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proven good customer experience background.
