Job description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party.
  • Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers.
  • Assists in the opening and closing of the store which includes and but not limited to cash handling and deposits.
  • Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.
  • Identify prices of goods using memory or scanner.
  • Enter transactions in the cash register and provide customers with the total bill.
  • Sort and count currency and coins.
  • Issue receipts and change to customers.
  • Count money at the end and beginning of each shift.
  • Process credit card and check payments.
  • Perform the duties of customer service representative when required.
  • Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.
  • Open and close tills.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of transactions efficiently, preferably in retail luxury.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within a team of at least 10 staff members.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and highly observant.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proven good customer experience background.
