Job summary

Sheraton in the United Arab Emirates seeks a dedicated team member to receive and stage merchandise by department, stock and rotate items, and deliver supplies to the correct areas. You will inspect deliveries, ensure freshness and quality, and remove waste while maintaining food safety standards in all areas.

You will follow safety policies, keep refrigerators and freezers clean, report unsafe conditions, and support a cooperative team to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department.
• Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
