What you'll do

AlixPartners, a leading global consulting firm, is looking for a Vice President to join our Dubai-based Performance & Technology team, focusing on the Energy & Process Industries (EPI) sector. You will work on high-profile projects involving performance transformation, improvement, and turnaround across the GCC and MENA regions, supporting sectors like oil & gas, mining, and petrochemicals.

This role involves analyzing corporate performance, building business models, driving cost reductions, enhancing revenue, and improving profitability. You will work in a collaborative environment, handling urgent and high-stakes situations, with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

What you'll need
  1. 4-8 years of experience combining consulting credentials and relevant industry experience in EPI sectors such as oil & gas, power & utilities, chemicals, heavy industrials, or mining.
  2. Operational or consulting experience in capital-intensive industries, preferably within the GCC, with a proven impact record in complex environments.
  3. Experience in cost optimization, working capital management, operations improvement, M&A, and profitable growth.
  4. Proven ability to deliver high-quality work across multiple streams and take ownership of key areas.
  5. Master's degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
  6. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, with experience in client deliverables and presentations.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  9. Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  10. Strong relationship management skills, team-oriented attitude, high energy, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
