About SEHA

Basic Purpose of the Role

This role is to enhance the data analytics and data visualization capabilities at SEHA through the development of a balanced scorecard, along with the management of its lifecycle on a monthly basis. In addition, this role will introduce a full in-house Business Intelligence capability that can provide bespoke as well as routinized reports / dashboards / scorecards to leadership teams. This role will be crucial in reducing data silos across SEHA and eliminating ‘orphan analytics’ across the organization by creating a platform to leverage and re-use data that is reliable and of high quality.

1. Data Collection and Management:

  • Gather quantitative and qualitative data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and other internal reports.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all performance reports and databases.

2. Data Analysis:

  • Use data visualization tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for analysis of Business Entity performance.
  • Identify new opportunities for performance improvements.
  • Assists the performance manager to collect data and generate reports based on ADHOC requirements in relation to any KPI or non-KPI data requirements that are requested from Stakeholders.

3. Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create reports and visualizations to communicate the results of data analyses and KPI results in a clear and effective manner.
  • Support in automating manual performance reporting requirements with the BI team.
  • Produce required performance and operational reports as per designated schedule timelines.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with different departments/teams (e.g., Finance, Commercial, IT, Medical) to collect data elements required for reporting in a timely manner.
  • Collect/report KPI results and translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.

5. Tool and Technique Development:

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

6. KPI Repository Upkeep:

  • Help in gathering required information around KPI to generate new KPI definitions and existing KPI modifications, baselines and targets.
  • Maintain the KPI profile database.

7. KPI Result Reviews:

  • Assist in coordinating and conducting KPI result reviews with the corresponding business owners.
  • Document KPI review meetings
  • Maintain actions items database and follows up and reports on actions progress.

8. Performance related meetings:

  • Helps the performance manager in coordination, data collection, compilation and formatting, meeting attendance, notes and minutes taking for any performance or performance related meeting

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, Health Management or relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel with data visualization - ability to create formulas, number formatting, filters, conditional formatting, use of functions, pivot tables, build dashboards and create charts
  • Proficient in PowerPoint - creating presentations and writing up commentary
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Desired Qualification :

  • Experience with dashboard or other data analysis tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI)
