Job summary

Careernet is hiring a Perception Engineer (Vision & Sensor) to lead end-to-end perception systems. You will manage 2D/3D cameras and industrial sensors, building robust, production-ready vision pipelines with strong calibration ownership and real-world deployment.

You will ensure perception outputs are accurate for downstream robotic execution, tackling challenges like lighting, vibration, and data quality. Join a hands-on team driving reliable perception in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial camera/vision system integration.
• Hands-on 3D perception: depth sensing, ToF, point clouds.
• Experience with calibration and coordinate transforms.
• Proficient in C++ and Python with OpenCV.
• Strong debugging skills in real-world environments.
• Ability to validate data reliability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and maintain camera and sensor systems with stable configurations.
• Develop perception pipelines delivering measurements and poses.
• Own camera calibration and world/robot alignment.
• Build and optimize algorithms for image processing and inspection.
• Work on 3D perception for accurate geometry and measurements.
• Validate systems in real-world conditions and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement quality gates to ensure reliable data reaches execution.
• Document system behavior, validation results, and debugging insights.
